Pet Insurance
Knox Pet Clinic is a believer in pet insurance—time and again, we’ve seen it enable pet parents to provide critical and life-saving care for their pets when the unexpected happens. Like human insurance, there are a lot of companies and plans to choose from, and it can be daunting to determine the best option for you! Some things to consider when shopping for a pet insurance policy include:
- How much is the deductible? Is it annual, per event, or for the life of the pet?
- Does the plan cover routine and preventative care?
- Does the plan cover pre-existing conditions?
- Does the plan pay your veterinarian directly, or is it a reimbursement model?
We recommend using Pawlicy Advisor to search for and compare plans. You’ll get many quotes with one application and can do in-depth, side-by-side comparisons of plans with personalized charts. If you have any questions about our payment options or pet insurance, we’re happy to help! Call us at (309) 343-6156 to speak to a team member today.
