Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Megan Blackwell joined our staff in August 2009. She grew up Lewistown, where she was a member of 4-H and FFA, and showed and judged livestock. She also participated in dog obedience competitions. She has bachelor’s degrees in animal sciences and in veterinary science, and a doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association.
She lives in Galesburg with her domestic shorthair cat, Mia. In her free time, Dr. Blackwell enjoys traveling, shopping, skiing and hiking.
