About Us
Appointment1975 also brought another addition when Dr. Benton C. Allen joined the practice, he had previously practiced on North Henderson Street. In 1985 Dr. Reeder retired from his work at Knox Pet Clinic. A small building in Knoxville was purchased and the Doctors opened Knox Pet Clinic’s second location at 105 S. Public Square in 1986. Farm calls were discontinued in 1988 and the practice moved to exclusively seeing pets. Dr. Brian K. Siever joined the clinic in 1999 and became business partners with Dr. Watters in June 2006. The name of the practice was changed in 2006 from Knox Veterinary Clinic to Knox Pet Clinic. In January 2016, Dr. Siever became the sole owner of Knox Pet Clinic. Knox Pet Clinic currently employs 3 full-time veterinarians, 2 part time vets, 3 certified veterinary technicians, a certified groomer, and over 10 other valuable team members.

Our Building
Originally built and used for storage by the government, this building has had over 20 owners throughout its history. The building started out as a simple wood structure with glass windows and decorative trim. As the building passed to new owners over time it was modified to keep up with the changing culture of Knoxville. Set in the heart of town on the west side of Knoxville’s Square, this was a prime spot for owners to have a shop. Our little building has been a clothing store, a hardware store, framing shop, lawyer’s office, residential quarters and now our veterinary clinic, which opened in this facility in 1986.
We are proud of our building’s history, whether a little store or someone’s home. We have been a part of the Knoxville community for over 30 years and look forward to serving the needs of pet owners for many more years to come.
